COBA & PUNTA LAGUNA, HIKE, ZIP LINE & MONKEY RESERVE
Explore the Coba Ruins with a local Mayan guide explaining the history of the area. After discovering the Mayan site, you will get on mountain bikes or rickshaws to ride direction Nohoch-Mul pyramid. For the most adventurous, a 120 steep steps climbing will bring you to the stunning jungle views from the top of the pyramid. The last stop of the tour will be the Cenote Tamcach-Ha where you can jump into the cave from 30ft (9m) or 15 ft (5m). For those who just want to relax, the platform at water level is a great option too. After the cenote swim, we will explore Punta Laguna, only 20 minutes away from the ruins of Cobá. This tour is recommended for nature lovers who want to enjoy the local ecosystems and Mayan culture with complete respect and harmony. Start with a Mayan purification ceremony before entering the jungle, then hike an approximate 30 minute where you may observe different types of orchids, a great variety of birds, and a good quantity of spider and howler monkeys! Along the walk, we’ll discover a refreshing underground water cave and descend slowly with a pulley system for a thrilling and mystical experience. A little further, get to the biggest lagoon of the Yucatan and cross it while paddling a canoe. Finally, our tour ends with a 240-meter-long zip-line ride over the lagoon!
End the tour with a typical Mayan dish served by a local community.
